Margaret Petros

Margaret Petros, Director of Mothers Against Murder (MAM), recounts the testimony of her paternal grandmother, Yasmin Salian, who survived the Seyfo Genocide (1915–1918). Her grandmother escaped from Turkey to Iraq, but in the chaos of flight became separated and lost. She was later discovered and lovingly raised by another Assyrian family, ensuring her survival and the preservation of her story across generations.
