Kim Klett, M.A.
Kim Klett, MA, was a high school ELA classroom teacher for 31 years in the Mesa district in Arizona, retiring in 2023.  She is a 2003 Museum Teacher Fellow of the United States Holocaust Museum and is a senior facilitator with Echoes & Reflections, where she has led teachers in Holocaust education trainings since 2014.  Klett is the deputy executive director of the Educators' Institute for Human Rights (EIHR), and has led teacher trainings for educators in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Rwanda in that role, as well as working with pedagogy teams to create publications in each of the two countries.  In addition, Klett teaches a course on the Holocaust at Scottsdale Community College, as an adjunct faculty member.  She is a Defiant Requiem Teacher Ambassador, a member of the inaugural cohort of Learning for Justices' Teaching Hard History, and serves on the board of the Phoenix Holocaust Association.
Ms. Klett serves as the Assyrian Curriculum Educator, training educators and interested community partners to teach the Assyrian genocide in the classrooms.
