About

Our Goals

The Assyrian Genocide Curriculum was developed on behalf of the Seyfo Center Arizona Chapter to provide content regarding the Assyrian genocide to high school teachers and educators. The curriculum was designed to meet the genocide education requirement established by the State of Arizona.

The materials in the lesson plan are designed to be used either as a stand-alone lesson on the Assyrian genocide or in combination with outside lessons on the Armenian and Greek genocides to provide a full understanding of the scope of genocide and violence orchestrated by the Ottoman Empire.
